Our popular personal training offers private, guided instruction that is often more effective than group classes. After an initial 30-minute consultation to determine your fitness level and desires, we create a customized training plan that helps you achieve your goals efficiently and safely.
Your personal trainer will assess your fitness level then create a detailed fitness plan that will help you achieve your goals.
Most training sessions combine free weights, resistance and cardio machines, and body weight exercise.
Each training session is 1 hour. We recommend two sessions/week for maximum benefit.
A water bottle and indoor runners are required for gym training. We also recommend consulting your doctor about readiness.
2-on-1 “buddy training” is designed for those who would you like to train with a friend or family member. Working out with a training partner provides many clients with the added motivation, encouragement, and accountabiity they need to succeed. A personal trainer works with both training partners. Clients get the same benefits of 1-on-1 training, but with the additional convenience of sharing training costs.
Your personal trainer will create a fitness plan that will benefit both training buddies. Personal adjustments will be provided as needed.
As with 1-on-1 training, sessions may combine free weights, resistance and cardio machines, and body weight exercise.

A typical personal training session (whether 1-on-1 or buddy training) begins with a warmup and stretching exercises guided by your fitness instructor. Following the warm up, we do a series of exercises to get the heart pumping. We then progress through a series of resistance exercises (usually 6-8 exercises of two to four sets) combining free weights, resistance bands and body weight exercises. After the workout ends, clients finish with a cooldown and stretching exercises. Training can follow a fitness plan created by the personal trainer and the client, or can be more general, providing general benefit to entire body. Sessions are usually 1 hour.
