Group Fitness Classes

Revolt Performance offers small group fitness classes to fill the gap between 1-on-1 personal training and large group training classes. We keep class sizes small, so that you get attention and coaching suited to your needs. Group classes employ traditional strength training methods using weights.

Group Class Step By Step

A typical group fitness class begins with a few minutes of warmup and stretching exercises guided by your Revolt Performance fitness trainer. After the warmup, your instructor will lead the group through a variety of exercises and movements designed to provide good, general full body strengthening. Exercises are usually performed in two to four sets of moderate reps. Equipment such as dumbbells, barbells, resistance bands and/or body weight are used for strengthening major muscle groups. Instructors use elements of HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) to achieve cardiac conditioning and achieve maximum caloric burn. After exercises are complete, students are led through stretching and cooldown exercises. Group fitness classes are 1 hour. Music always accompanies group fitness classes, providing energy, driving rhythm and beats that help you focus and find your groove.
