Working in a group of no more than six people, our trainers will guide you through a 60-minute structured bootcamp program. Each session includes stretching and mobility work, as well as resistance training. We also incorporate HIIT training to improve cardiovascular capacity. Trainers use a variety of exercises and movements to keep you engaged.
A training plan that will benefit all clients is used, although trainers modify exercise for individual clients as required.
Classes use a mix of resistance training (free weights, resistance bands), body weight only exercises, and movement.
Bootcamp classes are 1 hour. Clients arrive 10-minutes early to warm up. We recommend one bootcamp class per week.
A water bottle and indoor runners are required for gym training. We also recommend consulting your doctor about readiness.
A typical bootcamp session begins with a few minutes of warmup and stretching exercises guided by your RVP fitness instructor. The trainer then leads the class through exercises, usually performed in two or three sets of moderate reps. Exercises may combine the use of dumbbells, resistance bands and body weight. Instructors use elements of HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) to achieve cardiac conditioning and achieve maximum caloric burn. Classes are designed to either: provide good general strengthening and general cardio conditioning, or, for specific goals (i.e. Ladies Only, Gentlemen Only, Core, Cardio, Boxing Bootcamp). After exercises are complete, clients are guided through a cooldown and stretching. Bootcamp sessions are 1 hour. Music accompanies the class, providing clients inspiration, distraction, and a steady rhythm.

Training incorporates elements of high intensity interval training and may not be appropriate for beginners or people who seldom exercise. If you’re new to HIIT, but do a little regular exercise, you, like many people, may find it difficult at first, but you’ll slowly adjust.
